Fruity sour gose with 3,7 % ABV - light, refreshing and intensely berry-forward.
Our Blueberry Sour Gose is a modern interpretation of the historic Gose style – brewed in Cala d’Or, Mallorca
and exclusively available in our taproom.
With 3.7% ABV, 9.5° Plato original gravity and just 15 IBU, it is light, lively and pleasantly tart.
The label was designed by Carolina Elisa Cascante Rojas (Instagram: nin_locita) and plays with the iconic visual language of a well-known comic character.
Blueberry Sour Gose from Cala d'Or - fruity & vibrant
Brewed with barley and wheat malt, traditionally refined with coriander seeds and sea salt, it develops the typical, finely mineral Gose base.
After fermentation, 100 g of fresh blueberries per litre are added as purée – for intense fruit character, natural acidity and a deep violet colour.
The result is a summery, vibrant sour beer with personality – not ordinary, but deliberately different.
What is a Gose?
Gose is a very old, top-fermented beer style from Germany, first mentioned as early as the 10th century.
It takes its name from the small river Gose near Goslar. Later, it developed into a regional speciality
in Leipzig, traditionally served in its characteristic Gose glasses.
Typical characteristics of a Gose are:
- a refreshing, natural acidity
- low bitterness
- subtle spice from coriander seeds
- a delicate saline note
- a light, lively body
Our Blueberry Sour Gose combines this historic base style with intense blueberry fruit
and modern lightness – handcrafted in Mallorca.
