El Faro de Portocolom
What began in Portocolom continues today in our brewery in Cala d’Or.
“El Faro” stands for clarity, balance and honest craftsmanship.
This Pale Ale from Mallorca is carefully balanced and finely tuned:
a harmonious malt base meets a pleasant, slightly fruity hop character.
Not too bitter, not too heavy – but rounded, fresh and easy to drink.
With a moderate 5.6% ABV, it remains approachable and lively.
A beer with character – yet light on its feet.
As a Pale Ale from Mallorca, “El Faro de Portocolom” combines traditional brewing craftsmanship with a Mediterranean character.
Inspired by the Australian Sparkling Ale style (BJCP 12B), we focus on a finely tuned bitterness of 30 IBU and a harmonious balance between malt and hops.
Its bright amber colour (11 EBC) underlines the fresh impression, while subtle citrus notes add vibrancy. With a moderate 5.6% ABV, this Pale Ale remains approachable and easy to drink – ideal for warm evenings in Mallorca.
Our Pale Ale is brewed exclusively with water, barley malt, hops and yeast – no additives, no compromises.
